While the Special Vehicle Operations division was created in 2014, the 20,000 square meter Technical Center puts all of its operations and processes under one roof. Among the 250 new jobs it creates are positions in administration, custom paint and body work, technology, and other areas. Not only does it give customers a new sense of connection to their vehicles — which will be completed on-site by hand — but it also raises the stakes for Jaguar employees.
While the facility is reportedly inspired by the Jaguar brand’s decades-long involvement in motor sports, it goes far beyond that to create an unparalleled brand experience for discerning Jaguar drivers. The attention to detail even extends to the facility’s cafe, which employs a Michelin-starred chef and draws its inspiration from ingredients sourced locally in England’s Midlands.
Jaguar is in the midst of a technical and creative renaissance.
